Cooperation

Three months after the Angel Victory walked up the path on Prayer Mountain and announced the Lord’s desire (as well as His intention) to build a house of prayer on the ridge, He sent this highly unusual group of angels. Bob Jones had confided to us that “The Moravian Falls House of Prayer” would only be brought forth in godly unity and in cooperation.

The Lord wanted a witness of His love through those called to pray and to be willing to lay down their soul-life for our Heavenly Father and for the brethren.

THREE MONTHS

Therefore, three months into the spiritual history of the House of Prayer, the Lord sent this unusual grouping of angels to the mountain. Through these, He not only wanted to assist those who came to the Ridge to grow into greater cooperation; but also, to show that this particular prayer chapel would be open to people from all nations.

VISION: June 22, 2006

We were at the gazebo:

A grouping of angels descended together. They were all sizes and represented (it seemed by their features), all nationalities or people groups. They were bound together by a scarlet cord. [They looked like a bundle of asparagus or some vegetable that might be sold in such a grouping.]

They stood silently. Then one began to point in a certain direction. Suddenly, all of them lifted from the ground and moved very quickly in the direction of the pointed finger.

Then, another pointed in a different direction, and they all moved as one in that direction. One began to bend down, and they all bent down. I was somewhat puzzled by this. “What is this, Lord?” I asked.

“COOPERATION,” the Lord answered.

Just as He spoke the answer to this question, a pastor from South Carolina came walking up the path. I called to Albert (who was sitting close by) and we spent several hours ministering to this pastor. May the Lord help this Christian.

When we returned to the cabin, we began to do a bit of research on this particular experience. Here is the understanding that we received. We were open to further understanding through the group – in fact we welcomed it.

The scarlet cord symbolizes unity with Christ through His blood and His self-sacrifice. Christ is the unity between these angels. They are one in Him.

The grouping also shows that they function as one.

The angel’s various sizes mean that they were created with different giftings and responsibilities – but when one angel indicates a direction, all cooperate (if the group feels the leadings are of and from the Lord). The bundling effect shows that they were put together for God’s purposes. The nationalities represent a remnant of the whole.

1 Samuel 25:28 (partial) – “…because my lord (David) is fighting the battles of the Lord…”

1 Samuel 25:29 – “Should anyone rise up to pursue you and to seek your (David’s) life, then the life of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of the living with the Lord your God…” [The angels represent God’s protection of His own children.] 1 Samuel continues: “…but the lives of your enemies He will sling out as from the hollow of a sling.”

[As a group of the Lord’s children is brought together and then learns to be led by Him – in unity with the others that are brought together – then as a group, they will be like the angels in this tight bundle. What the Lord has imparted to each member of the group will – if respected by the other members – show the ministry of the body of Christ. Such respect and love is a picture (in small measure) of the unity and the diverse giftings within the Godhead. Then the enemy will have difficulty gaining entry into such a group. Such a group will be bound up with the Lord in the bundle of the living and fulfil the criterion that releases the promises of the Lord.]

This is the true meaning of John 15:7 – “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” This is a promise given to those called together by the Lord and willing to be brought into a place of unity with Him and with one another. The unity in Christ and with one another tugs on God. It’s like a needy child that is tugging on the parent’s clothing, asking the parent to keep his/her promise.

Another example of this is John 15:16 – “You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.” [It is the Lord who puts the “bunch” together for His purposes.]

The child of God that does not abide in Christ cannot do what pleases God. But when He puts Christians together who do abide in Christ, the grace and power is increased for the answering of those prayers that He Himself gives to be prayed.

As I have said, learning how to cooperate is one of the major gifts given by the Lord on Prayer Mountain.
