Twenty Years Ago

VISION:

A large angel in a white robe appeared on the path.  He had equally large white wings.

He spoke to me:
“Anna, do you know me?” he asked.
I stopped on the path.
“Yes,” I answered.  “You are the Angel of Promises.  It is wonderful to see you.”
He continued in great solemnity:
“Remember, the Lord has proclaimed promises here.”
He looked at me: “Does the Lord keep His promises?”
“Yes,” I said.
” He will keep these promises, also. The end of this stage of the world is at hand.  The changes
be great and many will be in distress.  But for those who run into the Stronghold, His might will save them.
He continued: “Prepare for this coming.  He promises, for those who listen and respond to Him, will pass through the fire.”
He looked at me with great intent:
“Take Him at HIs word.”
That seemed to be the final part of the message so I responded:
“It is always good to see you Epaggelias, ” I said.
“And you, child of God,” he concluded. He vanished.

I don’t know about you, but when I am waiting a long, long time for the fulfilling of one of God’s promises. (every twenty years or so) it is nice to be reassured that you heard and saw correctly.
This reassurance came twenty years after the promise.  Now, it has been exactly 30 years since the promise received a reassurance.  I hope He’s not headed for 40 years.  We up here on Prayer Mountain
are pushing the limits set by the children of Israel in the desert.  Lord help us.
