LIFT UP YOUR HEADS, O YOU GATES

 Vision: August 23, 2006 – Wednesday

When we arrived on top of Prayer Mountain, I realized that during the night, the huge gate had been set in place.

The gate was raised when we arrived. It was very wide and very high. The gate was secured between the two front towers. I saw no pulleys or ropes or chains as there would be with a regular gate. Either the equipment used to raise this huge gate was concealed or did not exist. Perhaps it raised and lowered by supernatural means alone.

I thought of Psalms 24:

Lift up your heads,O you gates,

and be lifted up, you ancient doors

that the King of glory may come in.

Two cherubs stood on the gate towers as watchmen. I do not know if this particular rank of cherub was guarding other gateways. There were other towers that had gates between them, also. These were manned by Warrior Angels. They were armed and alert.

During the night, the Lord had made fast the surrounding fortress to secure the area. The entrance was guarded by cherubim. I still do not know the reason for the tent and the garlands. But because the fortress was now functional, perhaps these are in preparation for some sort of dedication.
