I taped this interview with Bob Jones, in order to have a “first person” account of this vital piece of Christendom’s history.  In overall sharing of the spiritual chronicles of The Moravian Falls House of Prayer, I came upon it in the natural sequence I have been sharing for many years.  The interview may even be classified as a historical document.  It certainly deserves to be shared with the body of Christ for posterity.

September 15, 2006 – (a Friday)

[Today I transcribed that part of the cassette tape that we recorded at Bob’s (Bob Jones) on September 7th, 2006.  This part of the cassette relates to the ridge on Prayer Mountain.]

BOB JONES: (2006)

“You know where that iron stake is on top?  I was translated there a few years ago.  I was sent up there to hit that iron stake with a large stick (a tall staff)”.

It was about 8 feet tall and about this thick. (he held up his fingers to show the circumference of the staff.  It was about two inches thick.)

“I wasn’t even walking good yet.”

(Bob had undergone an operation on both of his knees [both at the same time] and had not fully recovered.)

(Paul) “Keith (Davis) and I were staying in Harry’s (Harry Bizzell’s) cabin up on the ridge of Prayer Mountain.”

“Angels were moving stuff all night long so we could hardly sleep. Next morning – about 5 until 5:00am – a being (an angel) came into my room.  I woke up and looked him right in the face.  He said: Go to the bathroom and meet me outside. So I went to the bathroom and then went outside.”

The angel said: “Pick up that staff.”

“I did and the next thing I knew, I was on top of the hill. (Prayer Mountain)  I didn’t walk up there.  It must have been right at 5:00.”

The angel said: “I want you to hit that stake because the Lord has need of the land.”

“So, I hit the stake and the third time I hit it, it became a huge King Cobra.  The staff became like the oar of a ship – like a blade and I just went right over the top of it and cut the head off of it.  That was the third strike.  And when I did, it became a portal and those huge trees up there just bent over and touched the ground.”

“I kept swinging.  I knew that you hit more than three times, so I kept hitting it.  I didn’t know how long I should hit it – but on the 9th time I hit it, that whole staff became toothpicks. And I was prophesying to the north, south, east and west that the Lord has need – like He had need of the donkey – that He had need of this land. I’m loosing the angels to bring this land in.  When I hit it the 9th time, the stick exploded and the trees straightened up.”

I thought: “Here is one experience that is real that I will never tell.”

The angel said: “You will tell everybody before you leave this mountain.”

I thought: “Huh!”

“So, my walking stick was gone and I had to walk back down that hill.  I had to walk very carefully.  It’s 5:00 in the morning and Viola is still asleep and Keith and Wanda are still asleep.”

“I got back down to the cabin and Keith was loading up the car.”

I said: “Before you finish loading up we’ve got to get everybody together at Harry’s lodge. (Apple Hill Lodge) before we leave.”

Keith said:  ‘We’re loaded anyway. Maybe we can get a cup of coffee and then maybe somebody will be up.”

“So we went down there (to Apple Hill lodge) and they were all up and in front of the lodge.  They were gathered in a circle talking out front.  So I told them what I had done concerning the land.”

“In one or two days, the land that Rick was trying to buy from that woman – she called him and said that he could have it for the (price of) timber.  Buck (Petty) and all of them began to get the land then.

The land came in immediately.  So someone wrote it in a book – Rick I think.”

“That portal – I was swinging counter clockwise and a portal moves clockwise.  I saw it like a Ferris Wheel – a Jacob’s Ladder and a merry-go-round – like the horses (that is the flesh) reaching up to touch the Lord – a portal.”

“So I saw this and this (Bob Jones made a circle within a circle with his fingers) –  a gyroscope.”

Albert (Anna’s husband): “What does that mean?”

Bob replied: “It means the place of His glory – a gyroscope.”

Anna added: “It’s the Angels of His Presence and the Angels of His Glory together.”

Bob continued: “Yeah, that’s where I thought they would build the House of Prayer.”

Anna interjected: “Well, Buck’s place is a good place for mini-conferences.” (This is the worship center that was built off of Nahum.)

Bob: ” Yeah, it’s a good place to meet. It’s really beautiful. But this one (meaning the cleared location on Prayer Mountain) is where the rock glows underneath and all around.  At different times the light comes on now – and it’s just that one spot.  From that one spot, I saw the Lord come down.”

“So,” Bob continued “there is a purpose in all of this.”

He continued with what has proved to be a prophetic word: “A lot of people need to move out before all of this can happen.”
