To begin the year, I want to show you the first revelation I was given when we came to Moravian Falls. I am sharing this with you right from my journal of June 1997… (22 years ago).
Our Heavenly Father is so loving that He gives us a choice when faced with a difficult road ahead. Even Jesus had a choice – and what are our choices compared to His? Mary, His mother, had a choice. All of us are given choices.
VISION 1992
ABOUT THE VISION
All of us have difficult decisions to make in life. Some come from illnesses or for righteousness sake. Choosing will change our lives in all cases. With great love, the Lord gave me the opportunity to accept or reject the life on Prayer Mountain (already so named because of the two weeks the top of the mountain glowed when a footpath was cut to the top.) Bob Jones said he could not live here for he needed his sleep… that if he lived here, he would be fighting demons day and night. Why?
Where there is a gathering of angels, the demons are circling as well. Both the angelic forces stationed in a location and the hindering forces of the enemy are highly active. But where the Father intends a mighty work there is always an initial angelic landing party… and here, on Prayer Mountain, there are many in that party.
CHOOSING
I was told by God Himself that living here (if I so chose – it sounds like a “Mission Impossible” movie doesn’t it?) would be painful. But you see I wanted Him. I wanted Him at all costs – and the cost has been great because of the persecution from the enemy. But I am one of the few (in hopefully a growing number) that has seen Him. I have stood before the throne of our Heavenly Father. I know Him and I want others to have that blessing as well while on earth. Our Father is kind and loving and open. He is generous with Himself and sincere in His concern for all. I so wanted His mountain to be as warm and welcoming as our Heavenly Father – for His arms are always thrown open wide to welcome His children home.
For this reason, those of us here in this location on the mountain are so overjoyed to have a prayer meeting that is open to all – to be able to worship Him and thank Him and lift to Him our sincere concerns.
Even though the Lord was honest with me about the fire, it has been worth every minute of it. It is blessed here, and we welcome you to share in the blessedness available to all. Come one. Come all.
But the message given through this vision is that He always gives us a choice even if it is a hard one. Ah, but the glory comes with it.
