It is generally agreed that the wedding in Canaan is the beginning of our Lord’s ministry.

Well, at the end of July 2022, we hosted our first wedding. Beside daily prayer, weddings are going to be an additional gift of the house of prayer.

Originally, several of us traveled from Arkansas across America, visiting chapels in park areas to consult with the owners. We were told that couples desired to marry in beautiful, wooded sanctuaries.

Therefore, the design of The Moravian Falls House of Prayer made provision for this blessing.

Prayer Mountain is not only anointed by God, it is also natural and beautiful.

Of course, the structure is not up as yet, but the Lord is already blessing us with our first wedding. Also, the electricity is not yet available. However, one of my assistants has a battery charged amplifier that magnifies the sound of two instruments. Therefore, the musicians had amplification for the wedding music which is very helpful outside.

We are doubly honored that we are following in the Lord’s footsteps as we begin ministry at The Moravian Falls House of Prayer with a wedding

The Wedding

Well – it rained. But the young couple and all the wedding party from out of town wanted to go forward. This picture shows the chairs covered in plastic bags to keep them dry for the wedding attendees.

We are not showing the entire wedding decorations because it was a private affair. But here is one of the lovely ribbons decorating the platforms.

Also in the road was a sign telling our fellow Christians that the Lord was making room for a wedding.

Not a single person was willing to change the venue to a location indoors. The blessed tenacity of the young couple and of all those attending was a prophetic verification from the Lord . . – for it has taken and will take foreheads of flint to accomplish the Lord’s desire (prophesied by many prophets) of a house of prayer on Prayer Mountain.
