Gloria
I’d like to pray for the City of Detroit. I’m actually living in Georgia, but I was born in Detroit and God has given me a burden for that city. I would like to pray for those in authority in the city because I know God is going to restore that city.
Father, right now in the name of Jesus, I lift up all of those who are in authority, in the City of Detroit. You said in Your word, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bears rule, the people mourn” (Proverbs 29:2 AKJV).
Father, I especially lift up the righteous that You have placed in authority. I pray, Father that they will not be a people who will draw back, but they will be a people who know and obey Your will. Father, as Your will goes forth in the heavens, I pray, that Your will flows through them. I pray for boldness, to go forth and to speak Your words – to do Your will, Father.
I also pray in the name of Jesus, for those that are in authority that do not know You, that are simply ignorant of Your ways. For those individuals, I pray that You make Yourself known to them: that You would show them Your ways, teach them Your path, lead them in truth and teach them, that they may recognize that You are the God of their salvation.
And last of all, Father, I pray for those who are seated in authority that have willfully rebelled against You, willfully despised Your ways. Father despite their rebellion, I pray You show Yourself strong, even as You have written regarding Pharaoh. You said in Exodus 9:16 that, “…I have raised you [Pharaoh] up for this very purpose, that I might show you [Pharaoh] My power and that My name might be proclaimed in all the earth” (NIV).
Even so, despite their rebellion, despite their hatred, I pray, that You show Yourself strong, that Your name may be declared throughout all the earth, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, I thank You, that the spirit of humility will fall upon Your righteous ones that are called by Your name. For You said, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV).
So, Father, I pray, as I humble myself before You on the behalf of the City of Detroit, as they turn from wickedness, I thank You, that You will heal the land of the City of Detroit; that You will heal our country. We pray that You will quicken Your people, that You will quicken the intercessors, that they will rise up in Your power. May they intercede on Your behalf; that they will not be moved by what they see with their natural eyes; that they will not be moved by what they hear with their natural ears, but, in the name of Jesus, that the eyes of their understanding will become enlightened.
Bring boldness to them, God, for You said, “…The righteous are as bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1 NKJV). I pray boldness, falls upon the righteous ones, O God, in the name of Jesus: that they will rise up as a mighty army, O God.
In the name of Jesus, I pray for unity, in the name of Jesus – that Your people will be clothed in humility; that they will wear humility like a garment, in the name of Jesus. Show Yourself strong, God, that You may be glorified. I pray all this in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah!

Lord, thank You so much for the glory of the Lord that is here. Thank You we have come to Mount Zion, that we are a city of the living God with myriads of angels. I celebrate, Lord, Your glory that is here today and celebrate what You are doing in this mansion. I feel led to read Psalm 84, that there is an impartation of joy for this place.
1 “How lovely are Your dwelling places, O Lord of hosts! 2 My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God. 3 The bird also has found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even Your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God. 4 How blessed are those who dwell in Your house! They are forever praising You. 5 How blessed is the man whose strength is in You, in whose heart are the highways to Zion! 6 Passing through the valley of Baca they make it a spring; the early rain also covers it with blessings. 7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them appears before God in Zion” (Psalm 84:1-7, NASB).
Lord, thank You we are the Living Stones, that we are Your Tabernacle, and every one of us is a jewel. Thank You we can come together. We hunger and we thirst for the fulfillment of what You are doing here, Father God. Let none of it fall to waste, Lord. I give You thanks for the foundation that is being built here, the costly foundation, for the time and the sacrifices of my brother and sister. Lord, would You breathe on us? Would You bring Your fire, Lord Jesus? May our hearts be that altar for You. Thank You, God, for those who are coming from the north, south, east, and west. Thank You, Father, for what You are creating together with us, and that You say, “How beautiful [on the mountains] are the feet of those who carry the Good News” (Isaiah 52:7).

Lord, we pray for S.C.O.T.U.S., the Supreme Court of The United States. We pray righteousness over doubt. Lord, we pray that they would rule in righteousness. Even if they want to have a deceptive viewpoint, may they surprise themselves because of the power of the Holy Spirit moving upon them to judge in righteousness. Righteousness. Lord, we pray truth over this land. We pray You blanket the United States of America with Truth. We know the only Truth is Jesus Christ Himself. Your Word says Jesus is Truth. That’s what Truth is. We ask that You blanket this nation with Jesus.
And, Lord, I pray that You prepare the hearts of Americans throughout this nation to be able to recognize Truth and be able to receive Truth. Lord, give them the discernment and wisdom to know what to do with the Truth. This nation has been under a blanket of deception and lies for multiple decades. We know Your Truth needs to come forth. We plead the Blood of the Lord Jesus over this entire nation, that it washes all our sins away, Lord.
We stand in the gap and ask You to forgive us of our outrageous sins. Lord, that You wash us clean and bring forth Your Truth… that we may know the Truth and that sets us free. We pray that this nation be one nation under God and be set free through Your Truth. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.

“24 The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, 25 nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. 26 And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, 27 that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward Him and find Him. Yet He is actually not far from each one of us, 28 for In Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:24-28, ESV). I pray that over the state of Texas. I pray that over every state that has a border with another country, in Jesus’ name.

I felt a burden to pray for all the lands that people represent here in this room, from Israel all the way here, and to pray for those who are serving and protecting our communities. There’s been an assault against those who are protecting our communities.
Father, we ask that You help those who have been called to protect our communities, our safe places, the first responders, the police, the sheriffs… all those that have been put in authority by You, God, to protect and serve. Father, we lift them up. Those that are on the front lines protecting the nations represented here. Father, we ask that You protect them. Bring things into order and into peace within their units, Lord.
Father turn around the assault against those that are putting their lives on the line. May they instead, be supported. May they be encouraged. May they be equipped. May they have, literally, the spirit of excellence upon them. May this spiritual attack against them, the words spoken against them, and the curses made against them be cancelled. Lord God have mercy on their lives and on their families. They put their lives on the line for us. We ask that You honor their service today. And You would bring the Church together to support them and encourage them.
Father, bring justice back into our communities. Forgive us and forgive those who have cursed the first responders. Forgive those that have spoken against the men and women that put their lives on the line to protect others. May Your grace and mercy be upon those that are called to protect our communities and restore their lives. In Jesus’ Name.

The cry of my heart is that there will be an unveiling of You to the Bride. That the Bride’s eyes be unveiled, that she may see You and have a revelation of You, and of who You are. I cry out, oh God, that we may know You. As the Apostle Paul said, “Oh, that I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death” (Philippians 3:10). It’s You, oh Lord, it’s Your face we seek. It’s You to whom we look. It’s You to whom we cry. For You are our very being. We desire, oh God, perfect union with You. Perfect union with Your Son. We pray, oh God, that the Bride might be unveiled to see, to see Your glory. To see and know who our Lord is.

Lord, we ask You for fathers in the faith in this nation. We pray for those that are young, even as we have watched on the news and in Christian circles of many famous people beginning to deny their faith and turn away from You. Father, we ask You for fathers to come into their lives and be able to speak to the young ones. Father, by speaking the truth in love, may the young grow up in all things into Him who is the head, even Christ.
We ask, God, for a harvest of fathers and mothers; a maturing of the seed that’s been planted in sons and daughters. Let this nation not be fatherless nor motherless. Lord, even as our nation is turning to rescue those out of sex trafficking and slavery, and we’re seeing You expose those things, we ask for fathers to be in the homes of our communities.
We ask for a release of fathers and mothers that walk in the power of inner healing. May they begin to deliver people from traumas they have experienced, even the traumas veterans are coming back with from their military service. We ask You for fathers and mothers, mature in their faith who can speak a Word of healing in due season. May healings be multiplied. We ask You, God, for an emersion of Your people in the heart of the Father and the heart of Your Son, and in the heart of Your Holy Spirit.
Even as You called the multitudes of Israel, Your son – young, old and all in between – as one, so may we step into Your glory together and be one magnificent body. This is the witness to the earth of Your goodness, Your glory, Your favor, and Your healing and Your deliverance.
We declare Your faithfulness, Lord, over those who are turning away. We declare, that the Holy Spirit, who is the down payment of their inheritance, is still working in them both to will and to do for His good pleasure, would keep them even unto the day of Your appearing. [Merged part of II Cor 5:5, Phil. 2:13 & I Tim. 6:14]. We ask for mercy and for grace. We ask You, Lord, that You would pour out a spirit of repentance upon them, Lord, so that they hear the words of the fathers and would not reject them, thus, wounding themselves. May they hear every Word of the Father calling them back.
Let the spirit of the prodigal be returned to the Father in this nation. In Jesus’ Name.
