Some heavenly experiences you treasure more than others. All of them are amazing beyond words. But some have an “ah-hah” revelation within them. Such is the next glorious experience I will share with you now. It caused a kaleidoscope of changes in my life.
August 19, 1996 – Monday – Glendale, Florida.
VISION
My Heavenly Father called to me and I floated right up to the Throne Room, ending about half-way back. Those on the sea of glass nodded and smiled in acknowledgment as I zig-zagged through them on the way to my Father.
I felt comfortable in Heaven now. It was like being in the home you grew up in.
When I arrived at my Father’s dazzling throne, He greeted me and I, Him. It came to me to ask Him: “What would You like for me to see, Daddy?”
He answered: “The Vale of Promises.”
Epaggelias, would you take My daughter there?”
“I will, Sire,” said Epagellias, who had suddenly appeared at my side. We bowed and walked out of the Throne Room.
THE VALE
Immediately, we were in a lush valley. There were flowers in great abundance… brilliant, bright, primary colors.
[This picture is right from my journal of 1996.]
In the valley and up the hillside were stones. These sat among the flowers. The stones had writing on them and could be read. They seemed planted in the ground (I am not sure “ground” is the correct term to use in Heaven for what would be ground on earth) and were as tall as a good-sized angel.
The stones were uniform in size and planted as grave stones might be in a military cemetery. There was room to walk between them and space that looked like flower-filled aisles.
Epaggelias was acting as our tour guide: “On these tablets (which were these stones) are written the promises of God. Each time a promise is made by God it is recorded here for all to see.”
PROMISES ANSWERED
Epaggelias continued: “As a promise is fulfilled, a seal of completion is given. This seal is placed upon the stone near the promise.”
“Every promise He has made is here – even promises to the smallest child.”
A PROMISE MADE
“Look, Anna,” he said, “here is a promise made to you by God and carried to you by an angel.” [A flash of recognition dawned on me. That angel, so many years ago, was the very angel now acting as my tour guide. I had not put the two together. That angel was Epaggelias. I did not have time to explore this discovery because Epaggelias was continuing the story.]
“Your Father’s life was extended one year,” he said.
THE BACK STORY
[At the time of my Father’s illness, years ago, an angel appeared to me in the I.C.U. waiting room. It was around 3:00 a.m. in the morning. I alone was in the darkened visitors’ waiting area. The angel was tall, dressed in white with large white wings. This was years before I began going to Heaven. However, I had begun to see angels every so often; so the angel’s appearance did not startle me.
He simply stood, quietly looking at me.
Therefore, I spoke to him: “…the Son of righteousness will rise with healing in His wings…” (slightly changing Malachi 4:2 to mean Jesus). The angel continued to solemnly look at me as if he was waiting to receive instructions spoken to him internally.
He did not speak but instead curled one of His wings in front and plucked out a large white feather and gave it to me.
Again, he looked at me a little longer and then walked out. Almost on the heels of his departure the I.C.U. nurse came to a far door and said that it was possible to visit my father for a few minutes.
I carried this spiritual feather into my father’s I.C.U. room.
I had driven down from Kansas City and had not seen him, as yet. I was stunned. He was hooked-up to a breathing machine, and every other machine possible, it seemed. I had been told that he was not expected to live. He was in a coma.
I talked to him as if he were awake and told him I was going to lay that spiritual feather on him – which I did. One is not allowed long in I.C.U in the middle of the night so after I lay the angel’s wing feather on my father I returned to the waiting room.
I had been settled for a few minutes in the I.C.U. visitors’ area when a nurse hurried out to me – breathless – saying my father had suddenly come out of his coma – pulled out the breathing equipment, was talking and seemed fine. My father returned home right from I.C.U. – lived one year – dying in the same hospital one year later.]
REVELATION
Suddenly, now I realized that the single feather meant an extension of life – given by my Heavenly Father – of one year. (The feather was a promise.)
THE VALE
“Yes,” I said, being jarred back into the present moment.
The angel continued: “These are placed here so that everyone may witness our God’s faithfulness. Not one promise that He has given will go unfulfilled. All promises written in the book [the Bible], as well as all promises to nations and to people groups will be fulfilled. All promises to the land – to animals – birds – all will be fulfilled. He has promised many and those many will be fulfilled.”
OTHERS IN THE VALE
I saw some of the redeemed reading a few of the numberless stones… birds, animals, angelic beings, also, were stopping in front of various stones to read and view.
Epaggelias continued: “He has promised you many wonderful promises, Anna. You will see them all fulfilled. Epaggelias read my mind. “Yes,” he said, “you may touch the living testimony.”
THE LIVING STONE
I touched the stone relating to my father. Although it looked thick like a stone, it was wafer thin. When I touched the written promise (which I am sure was written in the tongue of angels but I saw it in my own native tongue), the stone became a replay of the promise and its answer.
If we were on Earth, I’d say it was like a screen on which a movie excerpt from life was playing. But, it wasn’t a movie. It was more like that which God alone experiences: past, present and future are all present to God. We, at present, do not experience this. However, the promises shown that have been given and if fulfilled, shown as fulfilled, are like this experience. It was sort of living history told from the view of God’s faithfulness.
THE PLANTING OF THE LORD
Epaggelias looked across the expanse and said: “This, too, is a planting of the Lord… not grave stones, but living promises. All is still alive here – even yesterday’s fulfilled promises are current – of today – and can be experienced, in order that praise might multiply to our God.”

LIVING WITNESSES
Epaggelias continued: “In the written testament of our God (the Bible), stones were set up as a witness to covenants. These stones in Paradise witness to the faithfulness of God.”
