The Lord not only tells us what He is about to do, He illustrates it. Think of the burning bush. It caused Moses to turn aside but it also illustrated the Lord’s command for Moses to remove his shoes because he was, by God’s design, standing on holy ground.
THE NEXT STEP
I have been guiding you through the proclamations, angel visitations and phenomena used by the Lord to announce and to establish His word concerning this chosen tiny “mountain”. God chooses the earthly locations He wishes to use to extend His heart and His hand to mankind.
Mankind has no part in His initial selection. However, if He allows us, we may confirm and enter into the outpouring of His blessings and opportunities for service.
As we align ourselves with His will, He opens passageways for us to receive from Him all He intends to share with each individual.
GETTING OUR ATTENTION
I would that I could add sound effects to this electric (no pun intended) message. To tell you the truth, the sounds were somewhat frightening. But, it certainly “got our attention”. Also, the shock of the delivery, imprinted – not only the experiences – but also the promises made by God.
Both my husband and I, being only observers, could not tell if these lightning bolts were actual or in the spirit – for the effect was the same. However, we did feel this display was to confirm His word with His power.
THE REVELATION
This prophetic phenomenon took place one month and a half after the appearance of the Angel Victory (that informed us of the Lord’s intentions for this mountain ridge).
VISION:
May 30, 2006 – Tuesday
The Lord speaking: “I am about to do a new thing, but as the new witness stands upon the old – so this that is new must stand upon that which has already been revealed and proven.”
THE NEW
“I release the new to you,” He said. There was a crackling as lightning flashes ran around mid-air – almost too fast to see, as they appeared briefly and then disappeared. They hovered about shoulder high like a moving flat cloud above the earth. Then they struck the earth with a mighty crack. They struck again, and again, and again, and again and again. Five times in all. Then they stopped. Then they struck again, then again, and again, and again, and again. Five times again. Then, they stopped again. Then they struck again, and again, and again, and again, and again – five times, as before.
“Triple grace,” the Lord said. [3 fives.]
After a few seconds the lightning cloud struck again five times. This time the striking was more powerful. Then they stopped. Then they struck another five times even louder. Then they stopped. Another five times the lightning bolts struck with the sound being almost deafening in its intensity. Then they stopped again. Then the lightning struck another five times. So loud was this sound – so immense these strikes, one felt that they could be heard everywhere.
The Lord spoke: “Seven times five – perfect grace, adding to a new beginning.” [7 x 5 = 35. 3 + 5 = 8.]
[As I looked, there was a haze of glory where the lightning had hovered. Slowly it evaporated into the air.]
OUR REACTION
My husband and I were terrified. With so much ground-striking lightning, we felt one of those bolts might go astray and hit us. The strikes seemed to charge the very ground (which itself trembled under God’s power). Truly, the experience was hair raising.
